ka24e parts help
im building a ka24e drift motor(picks of it are in my garodge), and i found some headers and other things for it. i took the head and got it shaved 30 over, but i cant really find any other performance parts to make it any better without turboing it. this is the list that i want and if anyone can direct me to them i would be greatly appreciated. i want to maybe individual throttle boddy it, but i have only seen people custom make them and then have to tune them? i dont know if this is true but id like to know. second i want a cam. iv seen people use nismo r4 cams but i heard it doesnt bring a hole bunch more power but just sounds really cool. other then that cam i cannot find any cams other then the ka24de, i know they have simmilar lifts but would they work for each other? but then ill have an extra cam just laying arround.... if you guys could help it would be awsome! thanks

your not gonna make much power at all NA and single cam on top of that.
better luck swapping in a ka24de and putting single cam pistons in it and doing head work to that, but then you will only make 200hp tops with a awesome tune and itb's.
you might wanna just throw a turbo kit together with a t28 and bolt on's..
how much power are you planning on making and what are you gonna use the car for???

yeah i was trying to aviod that and i want to drift it and i drift my sr20 and i dont like having the turbo lag. but i had the motor already and wanted an all motor build and to try to do something diffrent. seems to me a cx turbo kit with some cheep low comp pistons and new rings would be a good bet. what do you think?

yeah that is what the sr has and it isnt as bad as the t25 that i originally had. but thanks for the info. i mean to me it seems like for all that trouble and cash you can swap the ka and get into an sr or rb and come out on top in power.
oh and about ebay, thats goes back to the post, you just simply cant find parts for the ka24e and ebay had them. the original plan was to go build it for cheep and easy and maby sell it/ blow it up at desoto(merry driftmas), now i wana keep it and drift it insted of ragging out the coupe(sr).
yeah man the ka is a torque monster, more then hp. but the truck motor actually has a like diffrent cam and a lil more then the 240sx motor. and yes sr arnt very stock, but after a lil adjustment can be.... but rbs yeah parts arnt so easy to come by. ls1 is always a possibly too...
