Default idling problem

Well I'm sure its been covered. I just don't have time to search for it on google cause I'm at work

But anyway yesterday I started driving my 240 since it got a/c and idled fine when I got it back with the a/c on, than I turned it off cause it started getting cool outside, got to the first light with it off and it dropped down to 200 rpms and than died, started it with the air on, and was idling back to normal, drove it around running fine, started driving it again later than night with the a/c on and it started dieing with the air on every time I come to a stop, but drives perfect, was thnking it could be the IACV but I want to see if anyone else has had this problem or if the problem could be somethng else,

Its a S13 DOHC KA btw

Help me out TR! Lol

more than likely the IACV... try taking it off and cleaning it out with carb cleaner...

however, it could be a matter of just a weak idle and when you had the A/C on, and the idle was jumped up to compensate, it was masking the problem.
Could just need a tune up.

does it make a difference with how hot it is outside?

what about how long it has been driven?

My next bet is that they popped off some emissions cap that was on there.
