when putting my motor in I noticed...

I noticed that the plug on the oil sending unit was broken will my car still run without this being plugged in or do I need to get one?

It costs $15 from frsport. Buy a new one. Your car will run without it plugged in, but will trigger a code and make the oil dummy light pop up on your dashboard.
