Please help me diagnose these window problems!
so im having some power window issues. at first both windows worked fine. then about 2 months ago the passenger window would hesitate going up and down. i would have to hold the switch for a second or two, then it would work. then at random times it wouldnt go up or down. then say when it was all the way down, and i held up on the switch, it would go up for a few seconds, then die. i would wait like 5 seconds, roll it up more, then die. it kept doing this repeatedly. eventually it finally stopped working. thank god it was rolled up when it decided to go.
then theres the driver side. as soon as the passenger side started acting up, the DS decided to do the same. but no randomness of when it worked and there was no hesitation. all it does is roll up very very slow, then die after a few seconds. i would have to wait 10 seconds or so then roll it up more only to have it die within 2 seconds of rolling it up. (the longer i waited in between rolling it up, the longer the window would roll up before it died. i.e. if i waited 20-25 seconds, it would roll up for 5-6 seconds or so.) then i repeated the same step. waited 10 secs. then roll it up more. then die once again. i have to repeat these steps 3 or 4 times til' the window was fully up. it is progressively getting slower and worse.
i was told to check the amp, only to find out only 95' S14's came with the white box behind the door panel, and 96' S14's have a built in amp in the driver side switch itself. so idk. if anyone can help me out that would be great. i just want to get some insight to what it may be before i spend the $$$ on motors, regulators, switches etc.
thank you.

but i was told it was the amp also so. eh. the guy told me "Oh yea your amp is f*ckered. you need a new one." so i looked everywhere for a cheap one because those bastards are expensive and i couldnt find one i could trust so i just replaced the motors and it worked.
thats what im gonna do. im just hoping its something small and easy cause im pretty strapped for cash atm. new windshield, tires, and a new front hub costs a pretty penny. lol
