typically, it IS the amp. theyre expensive, yes, but the OEM one lasted almost 15 yrs so theyre expensive for a reason. never expect perfect results when cheaping out. chances are, the motors are fine. easy way to tell is to take off the door panels and grab a multimeter. if they get full voltage and move slowly or not at all, then it's the motors. if theres no voltage or poor voltage numbers, then its your switch/amplifier.
