If you know the owner I would think he would be honest with you as to the condition of the vehicles.

I have only "heard" of some negative attitudes toward them, but nothing concrete...

I found for sale with the following mods, I know some of these arent performance but approximately how much hp is this car pushing?
> JWT Pop Charger (Intake),
> GReddy Exhaust,
> JWT ECU,
> Custom Down Pipes,
> Stillen Test Pipes,
> Greddy Profec B Boost Controller,
> ACT 6 puck clutch (very streetable),
> Apexi Blow Off Valves,
> Apexi Indiglo Boost Gauge,
> Eibach Pro Spring Kit (.8" lower than stock),
> HKS Hard Pipes,
> HKS Turbo Timer,
> J-Spec Clear Corners.

Thanks

Well, the dual pop severly affects steady throttle driveability. the car will buck on you, and you have to slow down or speed up to get it to quit. You only need Dual Pop with upgraded turbos.

The ECU will be rich running

Exhaust sounds good

6 puck clutch - see Sabri's comment (it will be a HUGE pain to drive in town)

BOV's will make you stall out if you shift from high RPM and don't put it into gear, just letting the rpm's fall off

I would be curious what boost level's he has been running on the turbos...guessing they are stock.

What's the milage/price?

power on that car depends on his boost levels.

6 puck can be streetable, most likely not. if it is, its probably shot on its way out.

[quote="Chismoe"]It will take you about 3,000 to get to mid 12's. You'll need Drag radials or slicks to get traction. I had 275/40/17's AVS sports and still didn't have traction once the turbo's hit.

what exactly is needed for mid 12s? like what would i need to add to that car that i put the list of mods out to get it into mid 12s? how much $$$? and are there any good local Z mechanics/shops?

I could have sold you my '93 for $14K and it was already a 12 second car with lower milage.

To get in the 12's..
Intake
Full exhaust ~ $1000
JWT ECU ~ $550 (I think)
Boost controller ~ $330
Clutch ~ $400

These prices don't reflect any install charges you may incur if you don't do it yourself.

Let me know if you need any parts.

Also,
Harry (Z Tuner) on this site can work on the car for you. He and his brother Ricky know the cars pretty well.
