Default finding parts and mechanic

I'm thinkin about getting a 92 twin turbo Z but I would need a kick ass mechnic to look over it and maybe do some modifications to make the drive train more bullet proof. I'm not lookin to make the car any more powerful but I'm lookin to make the engine run more reliably. The upgrades I'm thinking about are stainless steel braid everything, after market intercoolers, thermo sleevin, intake and exhaust and that's about it.

If your not looking for more power, don't touch the motor. That's just stupid.

U would wanna know more about those cars before jumping into one. They are not the most pleasant things to play around with. My cousin is selling his 91 TT for 14K. Has 75K & is clean as hell.
