You might as well remove the throttle body coolant lines while you have the plenum off.

No, I was pointing out how retard it is to bitch about a 20yr old car having failures as if it was designed to be some FAIL box or something. I never told you to buy a new or newer car ... but if your going to be bitching about a car breaking down maybe you should take things into perspective. I am glad you found the help that you needed. As pointed in another post if you had searched google for 2 minutes you would have come across a ridiculous wealth of resources that would help you troubleshoot your issue, among other things directly answer your question.

Empire, your analogy doesn't even make any fucking sense and doesn't correlate with anything I said in any way. I didn't even refer to the for sale section in any post in this thread. With as many people here who drive junk cars who think they are hot shit... there should be a nissan/infiniti junkyard forum (not just a forsale forum). Do you get this angry about crap in your day to day life? Typically people don't let things bother them so bad when it comes to the internet. You must walk around pissed off all of the time. I've been on TR long enough (this isn't my first screen name) to know when someone is just bitching about their busted ass car being busted and actually looking for help. Up until the point where you felt the need to post, I wouldn't say there was any bitching going on. Then you posted, making some bitch ass comment about being happy the car even runs after 20 years of abuse. You do realize you didn't offer any sort of helpful information, just a bunch of bitching. Even david48 attempts to offer some kind of information.

I am not even going to get into the other stuff right this second. If you think david48's posts are informative you need to have your eyes plucked out and shoved up sinks gaping asshole. For the record yes I can be a huge asshole in real life and I have a very colorful way of expressing my points sometimes. If anything I am more toned down on TR at times than I am in real life. No I am never on TR and angry, the most i've ever been is annoyed on TR. I really don't give a shit how people percieve me on TR 98% of the people on here are a bunch of faggots the rest of them are fucking stupid and gay. If you've been around here long enough you would have noticed the huge decline in this forum circa 2005/2006ish. If your looking for bitching its copied and pasted below:

typically, you can tell when an 4 cylinder is running off of two. Actually, the majority of the time, they won't run at all. And of the very few that will run, they run like balls. Being my first 240, I didn't have any sort of reference to compare the power to, but it started easily and ran smooth enough that it wasn't noticeable.
As for v6's, the majority of them will shake your tits off if you drop even one cylinder. take away another 2 or 3 and they won't run. So, my "that's nissan for ya" comment had to do with the fact that nissans tend to do whatever they can to keep themselves alive and going, unlike most other cars where if anything is wrong, they just crap out.
They misfire because they are 20 years old. They do whatever they can to keep themselves alive and going because they are, by many standards, better than the average car.
And anyone that owns a 20 year old car, particularly a Z, knows, understands, and lives the love, hate relationship with their car. I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to pour lighter fluid all over one of my cars and watch it burn. but at the same time, I wouldn't ever just get rid of my cars as I hold all of them very near and dear to my heart.
So no, discussing that love, hate relationship, especially in the light hearted manner it was in, is not bitching.


and yes, I do notice the difference between TR now, and TR from 2005.
but, being that I have spent most of my time in the nissan forum, it pretty much makes sense. 240s weren't as popular back in the day. The "real car guys" were the ones with them and they were learning and swapping ideas and doing some really cool stuff with the cars. Then, all of the fanboys saw these bad ass cars, and just like they did with hondas, they gobbled up whatever 240 they could get their hands on because drifting was becoming the "it" thing to do. So now, no one is trying to pioneer anything new. It is a combination of the fact that most of it has already been figured out and your average drift kid just wants their 240 to hang out sideways. As long as drifting is cool, kids that would have normally been in a civic are going to be ragging on 240s.. It is ashame, but that's the way it works. as for the rest of the forum, I couldn't really tell ya. As far as I can tell, it is the same shit it has always been, there are just more members now then there were "back in the day" which just makes it seem like more bullshit.

as for your whole attitude crap, to each their own. for some, the whole asshole thing works really well. for others, they just come off like a bag of used douche. my 2 cents of advice, get over it. There will always be annoying ass kids, but the thing about it is, those annoying ass kids are what make the world go 'round. sooner or later david will realize that he doesn't know as much as he thinks he does and he'll start asking good questions and learning and who knows, maybe even come up with a good idea. You going out of your way to berate him just makes you look like the ass. Sure, he is annoying as fuck at times, but you just egg it on with your "gotta be an asshat" attitude. It wouldn't even be so bad if that bullshit didn't spill over into the rest of your posts. Hell, this was a 300zx related thread. The title of the thread should have given you a clue that someone was having a problem with their 20 year old car. If you did, then why didn't you post something useful? one of your major complaints about annoying fucks like david is that he never posts anything useful. How many posts have you made in this thread? how many have been useful?

I think its a lost cause Empire, I've had my 300 for 5 years now and I love Nissan, I guess he took it the wrong way, anyway, I ohm tested all of my injectors today and im kind of confused...I got between 12.8-14 ohm readings on 5 of my injectors (I had to re-clean one of them which is no longer not firing) so im back to 5 cylinders, the puzzling thing is on the last cylinder I got no reading what so ever, I cleaned it for about 15min it looks like brand new contacts no green corrosion but still no reading, im guessing that means its just 100% dead? And for everyone having this similar problem my suggestion would be take your time and clean each injector as best as you can as well as the plug, and buy some contact cleaner, helped one of my cylinders...

yeah, if you aren't getting any reading at all, then the injector is totally done.

its awesome that cleaning that one fixed the problem.

I forget what the two plugs are called, but standing in front of the engine bay, front, left hand side, those two plugs (I believe they connect the engine harness to the chassis harness, I forget, its been a minute since I've been under the hood of a Z) take those apart and get them nice and clean since you've got the contact cleaner and all of that out.

Lol I <3 you dimitri, so yeah Im amost done pulling it...I feel like I should replace 90% of these hoses while im in here, and re-wrap this wiring harness lol. but yeah, now I need a new injector, anyone?

Not entirely true, Yes they Changed the Injectors after 93 but the main fix was they redesigned the system, so that power is only applied the the Ignition is switched to "ON"
