Ok guys ive been dicking around with my car for awhile now.
It has had problem after problem. now ive gotten most of it sorted out or atleast it thought. I have having bad issues with it not wanting todo anything and it was the clogged sock on the fuel pump. so ive been driving it just dd around town so i havnt really gotten on it wel lme and a buddy said hey its the 4th lets go slide.
We go to our spot and i cruise up throw the car and i uauslly have more then enough power to hit it hard let off and play with the gas and my angle. today the car i threw it and i had to keep my foot buried in it to get threw the turn it just didnt have power.
I stopped did a launch and still its week until 5k then pulls hard to 6k then i shift. ??
Idk what it could possibly be ive been sorting threw wires checking everything i havee no codes nothing. please give me some insight. car has good compression 170-180 all the way across the board.. ??

Also the car will only seem to run right if it is at full advance on the dizzy ?

sounds like your distributor is a tooth or maybe two off. I am assuming its a KA . . .

check how the distr is stabbed

 

^^^ mine was pulling great after 4k rshared_pm 3 days ago. retimed and it runs so much better

 

Thats what ive doen its all good now. i reset the timing and unhooked the knock sensor and its seems like were back in biz..

 

you should be able to re connect your knock sensor.
