...heres the deal, my lil brother has an nx2000 with the sr20de in it.....well it wont turn, or start. im basicly looking for a replacement for it. does anyone knwo where i could get a cheap sr20de in florida? better yet in tampa? any help would be great. thanks

 

Dude, make sure you check it out really good before you up and buy a new engine. Make sure the battery is still good, you may just need a new starter. If it makes a loud rapid click sound that means the battery is low and it doesnt have enough juice to start the car.

The battery is fine. the starter got over heated and some other crap. Me and a mechanic friend of mine pulled the engine and he ripped it apart. Whoever sold it to us did a screw job. He pretty much had a sh!t load of engine problems and covered it up pretty damn well....Of coarse the second day my brother drove it, the valves started to tap. But he's dumb, didn't tell me, and that night the motor started pinging he said and the froze up at a corner down my street. *shrug* I hate getting burned. Thanks Jay, Thanks Tropic
