We've all seen it...that puff of smoke that follows a KA powered 240 after it has come to a stop and takes off again...or the cloud that can develope if it sits at idle for a few minutes.

Which one of you have addressed this seeping problem? Where did you get your work done? IS a compression test advisible, to check to see if its more than just your valve seals( i know the answer is yes...just looking for input from you all)?? I'm at the frustration point with my puff the magic dragon car...i knew it was only a matter of time.

Your experience and/or your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

yea i have never done it myself but its just a fitting to the aircompresser to keep pressure in the cyl so the valve doesnt fall so u can change the seals(whenever my seals need replaced i take my head to general crank and get Everything replaced cleaned port/polish... just did that last month...) when i have changed them myself it was due to a bad headgasket.

my dad has been going there for MANY years... we get a discount for how many motors we have brought there(over 100) i would call them and ask.(donno there number i just show up) just tell them its a 4cyl with x amount of valves... and what u want done they will give u a price.
