I gonna guess that you are a graduate of the FL school system?? They didnt teach or have that chapter in the Health class book I had. And no...dont send me your copy. I dont wanna know. In this case ignorance truely is bliss. (please know I'm just carrying on the joke...too funny to let go. )

Man...All i wanna know is a little bit more on value seals.
Does anyone have an estimated price for this sort of work +/- $500 ??

probably more than 500 honestly. its not hard to do yourself, its just tedious work, and youre car will probably be down a few days.
if youre confident enough to do a headgasket yourself, you should be able to do them in the car without pulling the head.
id just put some stop smoke in, and drive it til it explodes.

Yeah...I've been that route...pulled the head and replaced the head gasket. Ended up melting down shortly there after. SO i'm not terribly confident in doing so again. NOt so much that my work was wrong...more so that I know that better compression will often lead to failing high mileage bearings.

I'm honestly considering a full rebuild, in which the "no smoke" could be an option, as I save to get it done fully or maybe finally going SR...not so sure about Ka-T and could even consider Ka-R as an option too.
