About two weeks ago I changed my battery on my S13. Nothing was wrong with it. I just had to give it back to my brother. I put the new battery in it and about a week later my battery light came on. The car runs fine. The alternator is fine. I can't find any shorts. Nothing is wrong except for the fucking battery light won't go off. Please let me know if any of you have had this problem before and what it was.

 

ive had this problem for the last 5 years of owning my sr, never found the source =/

 

Take the bulb out of the cluster ;p

 

check the fsm, work through it one thing at a time, if no source is found, then remove the bulb.
I've had some cars that I couldn't ever figure out what the issue was and others that ended up being a short somewhere making the light turn on.
