Getting back in the game...
Ok so here is a little back story before I ask for some help. I had a 97 S14 years ago which I totalled from hydroplaning on the highway. So I swapped the engine into an s13 coupe which has since been sitting in my parents garage while I was in college. I have now graduated and I am looking to finish my project.
I have not been in the car scene for a bit so please bear with me. Here is where im at:
One of the few things that did not directly swap over was my Kaaz LSD. Also the tank needs to be dropped and cleaned out because the gas is bad and the car is 20 years old. So if any of you guys have any tips for this it would be appreciated. I have searched and found nothing about dropping the gas tank although I know the diff does need to be taken out anyway.
Also which axels need to be used for the LSD?

Sub-frame has to be dropped to get gas tank out in S14s.
The axle question will depend on which axles your differential half-shafts the KAAZ is in uses; 6 bolt is usually the norm so if your S14 now is running a KAAZ just swap differentials.
However since you are cleaning the gas tank out (which I would replace anyway since they're notorious for breaking) might as well get sub-frame spacers and swap the entire rearend from your 97 car in, since the differential/axles and everything would already be on it and would prob take you less time to put in, but the weight of the sub-frame with everything on it is pretty heavy ESPECIALLY for one person.
Good luck.

If you can find a clean tank, thats your best bet. I've took gas tanks to shops that fix them and they fu<k up the liner every time. One time I went to put gas in the car but they didn't drill the filler hole and I got a gas bath!
Sean, he's swapped everything into an S13, not another S14.
if it's 6 bolt, just swap rear covers, should bolt right in.
Gas tank, just drop it, clean it, put in new gas, should be good to go.
But I would also change all the fluids in the motor, if they have been sitting that long.

Oh shit, in plain text it tells me that.
Oh well.. someone whos swapping subframes in an S14 should use that advice lol
Then the answer would be swapping covers.
