I am not gonna get in an argument with you cause both engines are capable but in terms on parts availability and prices the 2j is the way to go
example
2j timing belt $30 to $60
rb $100 plus
2j water pump original $135
rb $200 plus
2j oil pump $175
rb $300 plus
also if you are looking to big hp # with the less amount of engine modifications the 2j is the way to go..................

There is a guy on youtube that did the swap and gives you a walk around. it looks sick, but it also looks like it was a freakin nightmare to put in. i was trying to find the link and post it here for you but i don't remember what i typed into youtube to see it the first time.
