Ill have to agree with most of you, gear wrenches are awesome. Although mine are are from HFT and not Gearwrench.
One thing I learned, swaps always come out costing more than you planned. So save 2x as much as you need, then try.

gear wrench now sells ratcheting OPEN ENDED wrenches... buying a set soon. i'm addicted to these things i have a few different sets.
honestly, the one thing i leaned through EXPERIENCE and not internet reading... the cheap parts... are often worth the money (not always)
i dont think twice about buying a 175 dollar turbo manifold, now i do have a 400 dollar wastegate on it... if the manifold fails, i weld it back up, if the wastegate fails... boom! new motor time. dont be afraid to try the cheap stuff but use your head

oem nissan thermostats
disconnect battery before messing with wires- i kinda caught it on fire at one point
after zip tying rotate it so you dont cut yourself on it
if you have shiny nice paint a fender cover is your best friend

ive also learned that alot of oem parts arent expencive... toyota thermostats are like 12 dollars instead of 8 for a POS stant. brand new flywheel bolts are like 30 bucks... and sometimes ARP stuff is a good deal cheaper than OEM.... price shit out.
