Default Rear suspension is fucking up

Forget the fact that its pretty bouncy, there is this loud, god awful noise coming from the rear passenger side wheel well. The sound changes with speed so i was thinking it was rubbing, but I checked and thats not it.

To make things even more odd, it all of the sudden stopped like 2 minutes away from my house? Car needs aligned (pulls right) so could that have anything to do with it? The whole trial and error type of fixing is out of my budget right now so any sorta help at all would be appreciated.

Sounds like a wheel bearing issue or loose suspension component.

YouTube - Bad Wheel Bearing on MKIV GTI

If it's doing this or makes a grinding sound when the wheel spins, it's going to be your wheel bearings.

if you have coilovers and you dont have the coil nuts tight it will cause vibration.. i would check that its easy and fast fix if it is the issue.
