Hey guys im new to this Nissan thing. My buddy has a 95 200sx and it first starts like it has no compression and then after trying to start it for several seconds it will run and run great it has 48k miles. thanks

 

If the timing belt/chain broke, it wouldn't run at all.

 

So the sr20de runs great with a broken timing belt? Tell him to shared_pm me. I could figure it out.

if i were you i would sell that motor to a science museum pronto. your gonna be rich! or send it to ripleys believe it or not under the name "Sr20 Phantom timing belt!"

 

lol..Thanks. well we checked the oil and it was over like a quart. We did an oil change and added some lucas and it hasnīt missed a beat. Also the fuel gauge was sticking so we cleaned the sending unit and drain the fuel, the gas was starting to go bad. thanks for all the help and suggestions.
