i had the same problem a while back it ended up being the ground wires by the pass side fuse box were not hooked up to get a ground,so check all your grounds..
with mine if i turned the key on everything would work and when i would go to turn it off it would stay on,i had to start the car then shut it off for it to shut everything off.

Turbo timers retain the power when you turn off the key like you didnt turn it off, if the wiring is messed up it could be the two power wires melted together, retaining power full time.

I didnt think he meant the car just stays running, rather the power to everything stays on, like the switch wasnt turned off at all, I thought when the ecu ground is toast the engine just stays running but the rest of the power is off ?
