charging issue

ok so i traced wires and from what i see im missing a clip of some sort.
my power wire that bolts up to the alternator goes to a clip by the fuse box then goes up to the battery.
my alternator ground goes from the alternator to the chassie
now the 2 wire clip that goes into the alternator goes to a clip that goes into the fuse box then one of the wires comes back out with another wire that goes to a clip that i cant find a plug for.and yes that wire goes to that clip i can see it clearly.
here are pics

thats the clip that has the no plug

this is what is pluged into the clip that has no plug for it (that i know of),and it is also the same clip that goes into the alternator just cut off (idk why)

this is how i found it.....
so am i missing a plug or what??lol

ok something weird happened as i was done messing with it all i went to start the car and it no start, so i rechecked everything and it all looked fine so tried starting it again it still no worky,so in the last pic with the clip in the plug that has been cut if those wires are not twisted together i don't get a signal to the starter but as soon as i twist them together it starts fine..this shit is weird lol
