Let me know if you have experience swapping motors esp. the sr20det into a s14. Let me know all about your experience where did you get the motor how long did it take what problems did you encounter? Thanks

Thats a pretty good price esp. since people say you do a good job. The problem is that I am in texas. I would also like to install it myself save $1000+ and Ive been hoping to learn some more about cars. Could you tell me how you got started on swapping and how I can get started over here in Houston.

www.freshalloy.com

there is alot and i mean alot of houston and other texas area people who have sr20 motors and ka turbo motors. jay does great work but youd have to bring it over here for it to happen and is work is very meticulous and detailed so it would require your car or at least parts and engine to be here for a while but in the end jays work is good enough to eat off of.

but you should research and contact some of the texas people i dont remember all their shop names but there are a few out there. and their just as close and have more experience with swapping rwd sr20s than jay although the fwd and rwd isnt too much different except wiring and a few small issues.

What is the weight of the S13? Ive heard that its most nimble of the 240s? Is that true? Also how much harder is it to swap a det into the S13 vs the S14? This will be a track car so a/c isnt needed.

Thanks
Patrick
