Default Suspension question

I'm trying to put lowering springs on my car with new struts and I cannot get the knuckle to line up with the strut mounting bracket, can anyone tell me what the trick is? Do I need to drop the LCA or is it the sway bar, I'm so frustrated after fighting the damn thing for 2 hours I've given up until I figure out what's getting in the way. Now I can't even get the old blown strut in so my car is sitting in my driveway in the air and I'm pissed! /rant

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone provides.

Loosening the sway bar or completely removing the endlinks from the bar or LCA will allow you to get more movement. You can also use a pry bar to pry the LCA down or up to get the needed movement.

I have never loosened the sway bar. Try jacking up the whole front of the car. This will take stress of the one side and let everything drop down.

I'll try this as currently I only have the driver side in the air. I'll go tomorrow and lift the front completely and see if I can get it from there, if not I'll try the endlinks. Thanks again for the input guys!

Putting the whole front in the air will solve your problem. Good luck.
