so I'm having a bit of a whining noise when I accelerate. Also at points, when I'm sitting idle, it starts idling rough. The noise is not high pitch but close. Any suggestions? I know the car was running on a bad spark plug for a little bit, as the guy b4 me broke the plug wire off. That's been fixed and the new spark plug and wire are installed... When the whine starts, it is hard to accelerate (gradually gets up to speed but u have to floor it to even get it to accelerate normally). Hope this is enough info.

Oh and at points it's fine... no whine, no problems with acceleration, or anything.
I guess that's all I know for now.

thanks... air is where I was going to start... but also, I had a shop tell me that I need to do a fuel system cleaning... so that's also what I'm looking to do.
