Well now I'm pissed! I went to mount my sunload sensor and the lense broke I guess the JDM spot for the the plastic is thinner so you need to trim down the tabs on the side of the sensor to use it the way it should be... luckily the lense isnt the actual sensor so I'm just glue it back together and I'm sure i wont even be able to notice till I get a new one

Yeah, I noticed that of the actual sunload sensors are the same, but with different snapon housings. I had 3 of them (J30, JDM S14, Altima) and just chose the one that looked like it would fit best.

Also, I ordered a new windshield vent to go with it, and it didn't have the outline/stamping for the sensor! I cut the vent and sensor from an Altima and just traced the pattern on to my new vent.

I completely forgot to grab a J30 one! Crappp guess I'ma be going to the junkyard AGAINNNN. Are you saying the outline for the cabin air temp sensor??

everyone keeps telling me you r supposed to unplug the factory fan relay since you have the JDM one for it to work correctly but if I unplug mine the blower motor doesnt come on at all and with the combination of both relay I have all 4 fan speeds so IDK guess people are stupid

Seriously people are such idiots I keep finding all these threads were people do extensive wiring to get the recirc mode to work and the blower to work in all 4 speeds... all you have to do is the simple basic wiring I listed and it all works some people are just retards I guess.. everything works perfect on mine, all i have left to do is the blend door motor for hot/cold then its done.

No, the outline for the sunload sensor. My old blue windshield vent had the D-shaped outline pressed into the back so you could easily trace it with a knife to mount the sensor. My new black one didn't. And, my dash didn't have the hole for that sensor to poke though either! Glad I had the dash out. You kind of have to on S14 to get to the recirc door, which is behind the airbag.
