hey guys im going to be running an AEM FIC on my rb25 and i need to know if the crank angle sensor and cam angle sensor is either hall or mag type.. lmk thanks

Neither... Optical nissan sensor


All nissan distributors / CAS's have been since 1982


I rom tune the stock ECUs... a lot easier than FIC

hmmm what do you use to rom tune..i was looking into nistune but theydont have a daughterboard compatible with the the rb25 ecu...

 

You can run an RB25 from a Z32 ECU, I think.

Nissan went back to Hall-effect sensors in the QR and they suck.

 

well ive heard of people running rb20 ECU's and wiring harnesses on an rb25 just to run nistune but i think im going to try and just get the AEM to work. it should do what i want and ive got a guy that has tuned a bunch of FIC's on plenty of cars

 

nistune just made a daughter board for the rb25 and 26, go to there web site, i was waiting for them to make on efor the r32 gtr ecu but found a better deal on emanage set up
