I've run 3 of the $20 HKB hubs... on each of my cars so far, no problems. I'll probably buy another one for my current car here soon. Solid chunk of metal. Quick release seems like kind of a waste.

Well Chris, thats why I posted this thread. I know some things hold together, and some dont. I ordered a ebay wheel/hkb hub because I needed it fast and cheap. But I know I have had one before, they are flimsy but they hold.

As for the quick release, I wouldnt run it if someone hasnt tested it and got good results. And I wouldnt cheap out on suspension parts ever.

LOL at the HUB Sports hub! I'm a lot less sketched out with a 1-piece hub copy like that. $20 is a killer deal, too. The Nismo ones are $60+

Works Bell standard hubs are like 45-50$ and they work with momo and nardi bolt patterens. I've had mine over a year. I dont really trust any of those quick release things.

Sparco makes a neat Q/R. Its pretty expensive though.

Yeah a solid piece Im not worried about, I know its pot metal. But it really doesnt see a lot of stress, even less when you have power steering.

A QR though with the many pieces it has, worried me. And my steering wheel will be replaced, just had to get one ASAP. My stock steering wheel the cover fell off so its just the metal bar.
