Apparently this is the guy that bought my car. He said his name was Wes when he came to pick the car up.

My problem is he flew off with my license plates and I need them real bad.

I first sent him a nice text asking to please send them back to me. He responded yes. Few days go by and he says he sent them out. 2 days go by and I call him he answers not knowing who I am and after I refresh his memory he goes to say to me that he thinks he sent them to the wrong address. But when he says "hang on I got the number I sent them to, over here" all of a sudden he has an incoming call and asks if he can switch over. I allow it and I guess he attempts to switch over but fails saying hello and I say yo and he calls me by another name and I said no it's the guy you bought the car off of. Then he says oooooh and says hang on, clicks over, I wait for about 7 minutes then boom he hung up. I try to call back with NO answers I leave nice messages and everything just wanting to find out what address he sent it too or something just so I can get my plates back.

But what really ticked me off is I go to call him today and there is a little message stating that his phone is no longer in service . So i did a little research and if my resources are correct his name isn't "Wes" it starts with a "J" and his last name starts with an "S". I also have reason to believe he lives in Dunedin which is in or near Clearwater? I dunno I live on the east coast.

So yeah anyway. If anyone knows him please let me know i just want to relay a message and i just want my plates back. So simple, because if he did send them to the wrong address the would have got back to him already and he should have been able to send them to me and I should have them in my hands. I don't want trouble. I'm a peaceful nice guy I don't like conflict but yeah if it comes down to it you got to do what you got to do, right? Yeah so please if anyone can help me let me know. Well i went ahead and reported it stolen. I dunno why but the cop showed up to my house with the lights flashing.....I gave him the name I think is the real name and it pulled the guys picture up lol. He also showed me that he hasn't registered the car yet and that it's still in my name. Tomorrow I am going to the DMV and having the tags cancelled so nothing can happen to me.

I didn't want to have to go through all that. I don't understand what is the big deal about plopping something into an envelope and sticking it in the mailbox because it's the right thing to do....I hate people these days.

keep the police report handy for a few months, you may get court notices in the mail for unpaid parking tickets and/or running tolls...
