check your harness for any cuts or brakes.
mine did the same kind of thing the harness was cut and 2 wires were touching together and it would make my car die

that was my original thought when it did it because of how it was doing it, and how he just goes away and then comes back...
but i checked and didnt see anything... ill have to double check

+1 When my car wouldnt start anymore I looked at the harness the 1st time and didnt notice anything.The next time I looked again there were like three wires melted and touching each other right above the injectors. Hope you get the problem fixed. Good luck man.

might be a fuel issue. sometimes when fuel pumps shit out they turn off and on while driving causing no worky.
check fuel filter,pressure
