man u got the type of gremlin u absolutely hate diagnosing... if u swing by fever I can hook up a consult 2 to it and scan for stored codes..

after that you should ride around with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up that you can see at all times...

this is usually the #1 cause of what you just described..

other than that.. u got a gremlin

Check your fuseable links by the fusebox on the passenger side in the engine bay. If they have a bad connection this same problem will happen. It happened to me in my 95' nissan pickup as I was going over the skyway... Not a fun experience, but I knew immediately what it was. Wiggle them, then try to start the car or vice versa... If it cuts out, new links are in order.

dude, i went through this with my stock KA and I felt like a dumb ass when I fixed it. Have you checked the quality of your battery terminals, and if the wires are frayed at all near the terminals? My ground cable was frayed and i just cut it a little shorter where the cable was good, clamped her down good, and was running fine. Dunno, just my experience

i had this exact same problem i was just driving along and my tach freaked out and the car just died right in the middle of traffic. Anyway when i lookd under the hood and had my girlfriend crank the car sparks started flying from the little dropping ressitor cause it was just sort of laying around so i grounded i never had the problem again. So you might check it

+1 had the same problem, terminals tend to corrode alot in 240sx. But just check that if its lose just go get a new one.
