Default Question about AEM dryflow filter

i need some input here, i put a aem dry flow filter on my intake and now all of a sudden the car wont stay running unless im touching the gas, could this filter actually be sucking too much air? when i put the old filter back on car runs perfect, anyone?

the AEM filter sucks in more air because it is made of a different material, its not a oiled filter

uh.. im talking about taking the filter off and seeing how it runs with out that......

step 1 open hood
step 2 start car
step 3 take filter off intake pipe
step 4 let car idle
step 5 come back here and tell me how it runs like that
