in the over 10 years ive been a professional mechanic ive never once heard anyhone call a dryer a dehydrater.

so i stand by it being wrong.

 

k thnx for the input, I have always heard it called the evaporator. Ill buy one of those. i assume new is the way to go?

 

evaporator is a totally different part.

 

lol, the 'torpedo thing' that just struck me funny. and it is a dryer, though dehydrator is just a syllable* i mean synonym...no biggie.

i used to hate a/c stuff and was scared of them because i didn't know about them. now i can work on them pretty easily, nothing too bad.

first time it broke, i had a professional mechanic use the autoparts store cans and if you use a good gauge, you're fine. i haven't blown up, and my car didn't either. and the air makes my nipples hard still. the a/c machine IS better, but different |= wrong

I realized that after i posted lol, i feel dumb . I have charged lots of a/c systems and its usually pretty ez but this one is being gay. thnx for all the input tho.

 

Um wrong... i had my system opened for like 3 months accidentally and now have nice ice cold ac without replacing it.
