If you can find someone to line hone the cam journals, do that. In the past, it's been hard to find someone with a small enough machine/head to do it. Throw whatever caps on there and take it in.

Otherwise, you need to match them by hand. Either feel it out or with a caliper.

If you still don't understand what we're trying to tell you, then this is going to end in disaster. Just replace the head, in that case.

+1, it would probably be a lot cheaper too

I understand what you guys are saying. I thought that align honing was similar to machining a cylinder in a block. so my assumption was that align honing would make the "bore" of the cam journals and caps bigger since metal will be shaved off, therefore requiring me to get a custom camshaft done to compensate for the bigger journal size. or i am compleatly wrong, and you guys mean that align honing is to clean it up so all are the same tolerence but still within tolorences to use stock cams. I know when you alirgn bore on some v-8s you can get bearings to compensate the bigger tolorence created by the bore, however, I don't know if they make cam journal bearings to compensate a bore, so I can use my stock cams. im not sure how theprocess works on a ka sorry.
