well here is the low down i bought a r33gts t28 turbo which is metal blade and ceramic bearing with a t3 exhaust flange, the problem is the turbo is shot, burning oil like crazy, is it possible to pick up a t25 or a t28 from an sr and swap out the center shaft and wheels basicly swap everything but the housings?

if the turbine wheel's shaft is the same diameter as the stocko t25 it is possible. you just gotta make sure the housings will bolt to the new center section. I've made one good turbo from 2 or 3 bad ones a bunch of times and had no problems, just make sure you got everything nice and tight. FYI the compressor wheel's nut is reverse threaded. So, righty loosey and lefty tightey.
