Too Much Traction
Chris was practicing at Lakeland tonight with his new Drag Weld / Mickey setup. Popped off a 1.6 pretty easily. One of his next runs launched hard enough to probably get a 1.3 - 1.4
but the force of acceleration was so hard it blew both airbags
never mind the output shaft which is now in 2 pieces... again
Nissan airbag shock sensors will pop airbags off if you get hit from behind really really hard....Like mack truck on the autobahn and you're standing still hard.

Not good to hear, hopefully the Q45/Z32 output shafts will hold up for me, well, at least I dont have airbags

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

I heard this and was cracking up, only Chris... I've got a couple more trannys imma blow up then I'll be upgrading.. I think he might be upgrading this time though.. Don't worry I don't have air bags in my car =)
