z32 swap engine opinions?
talk to Fever Racing, the only local Z32 I have seen in person that was swapped had an SR dropped in it. But I'm sure RBs put in them, and I wouldn't doubt the possibility of V8s like a VH or LS1... all depends on your budget man
PM Sameo2 on here.

The real downside to the Z32 with a small block swap, is the size of the trans tunnel opening, from the research I did a while back, they might even be smaller than the 240sx opening, and doesnt help with getting the engine far enough back in the chassis.
I think if i were doing a Z32, i'd be looking in the RB25/26 direction.

SR, RB, and LS1 into S13/14 harnesses converted.
SR 13/13- $120, 13/14 or 14/13 $180
RB $200
LS1 $250
full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

Dropping an RB in place of the VQ is ALMOST as stupid as an small ass SR being swapped into a Z32.
LS1's are a NASTY swap. Not so much costly (minus what to be expected) but the mounts are totally different. It would take a TON of refurbishing to get it to fit correctly. Theres enough room though, no A/C.
A fully built twin turbo VQ will wipes its ass with an RB26. end of story.
Fully built twin turbo = 20k give or take
Converted RB26 = atleast 20k not including finding the RB that isn't SHOT and doesn't need a rebuild already.
