I'd figure that since you have a bit more contact patch on lower psi, so instead of spinning, if it does give it wheel hops. It must be pretty violent on sticky tires, but with the power your car is putting out I'd assume you spin a bit more than most.

I also notice the stickier the pavement the harder it wheel hops. It's also pretty bad in the rain as well. I'm going to look into the bushing kit for the rear only, as my front end has mostly new bushings already.

+1 for new bushings! made a world of diffrence on my NEWISH 2006 car, I can only think about how well it'll help a car with 20 years under it's chassis.
