Worn out bushings and or blown rear shock.

wheel hopping is caused by shitty bushings failing to absorb the forces put on the wheel/control arms during hard acceleration.
Yeah, I've been thinking about getting that kit and having everything pressed in. Seems like the car will drive like a new car after that kit.

if you have the disposable money, might as well pick up some control arms while the rear end is apart. and yeah, new bushings rock.

Dont do the poly bushings with out doing the grease fitting mod, unless you want to tear everything apart every 3-4 months to regrease it. If you dont keep them greased they will be worse then the stock bushings and bind like a mother fucker and completly suck and do the exact opposite of what you wanted them for.

I did the ES poly bushings in my Z32 uprights with grease fittings and I loved them up untill I crashed my car. But every other bushing in my car is Sperical bearings.

yo dog

my car has every single bushing you can do except for the lower contorl arms (very small, little to deflect) and the spindles (probably could be an improvement)

my car wheelhops when the tires aren't spinnign enough.

solution:

bigger burnouts

I agree with matt on this on tire pressure or how much I waqrm the tires up plays a big role on if my car hops when I quick shift into second third or even fourth gear.. anything under 25psi on the oil mickey setup and I would be granny shifting to avoid wheel hop. Bushings did help out a lot though.

Interesting, but that seems to be my case. If the car is on the brink of traction and just let's go I have some pretty bad wheel hop, however if the car gets spinning it's a lot less violent.
