No, i'm not joking.

Looking for some sort of way to take my ped with me. it weighs less than 100 lbs. I'm thinking of installing some sort of bicycle / light scooter rear rack thing that installs via a small hitch.


pros:

moped can go on long journeys, and be ridden in areas far far away without having to travel @ only 45mph to get there.

s13 can easily wear a set of "truck nuts"


cons: fucking hitch on an s13, does it get any more white trash?



it only needs to hold about 100 lbs. a full tank of gas weighs more.

 

Just put it in your trunk/hatch area with the back seats folded down.

 

I have one for my S14. It just bolts onto the bottom of the spare well, and the rear frame, it has plates on the inside to distribute the weight. Works pretty well. I use it to pull my kayak

 

get a roof rack and throw it up there. that would be sweet.

 

The guy that helped me with my build has one on his s13, heres a pic.



He did it himself, im not sure how its rigged up, but the hitch is like right in the license plate area.

 

I have a system, It doesn't fit that easily, and i don't want to scratch up my hatch area.

 

i'm pretty strong, but lifting an awkward 80 lb moped up onto the roof of my car without any damage? are you forgetting my car isn't a completed dented primered multicolored piece of shit like the rest of tampa s13s? but yes i agree, moped on roof would be sweet as fuck.

isn't your moped basically a bicycle with a motor? but yeah I guess you're right. that would be a bitch if it leaked oil or gas or something nasty onto your paint.
