I just saw a very clean single cam hatch pulling an 8ft Uhaul. I think these cars are rated to pull 1500 lbs or so. I'd just get a setup like those old farts with Jazzys have. I think it's just a class 1 hitch and a small platform with tiedowns.

 

So you say this....but want to add a hitch to your car. This is more fail than me thinking about recircing the wastegate into the exhaust on my car.

 

Uhaul sells hitches made for s13's. I worked at the one on hillsborough next to hooters for about a year and a half in highschool and I think I did 2 hitch installs on s13s. IIRC I had to drill all 4 holes. Just call them and ask for a quote. And do the wiring youself its easy as hell, but it cost about $40. Just called my friend that still works there, the hitch cost $150+tax.

 

my old coupe came with a hitch, and my neighbors old hatch had one too.

i wish i kept it, i would totally build a tire trailer like those miata fags use.

i used to autocross with some guys from VT when i lived in VA that had hitches on their 240s. one s14 and two s13s. all of them towed tire trailers.

 

You would have to probably cut your bumper, or take it off all the time.

Would be a huge pain in the ass.
