okay so did a compression check on my dual cam ka and all cylinders came back 130psi all the way across....i dont kno wat there suposed to be but i kno its not 130...soo would it be cheaper to find a short block or just rebuild the bottom end?

 

ka's are cheap as fuck, but theres always a risk of something being wrong with one that you wouldnt have if you just rebuilt it.

but find out what the problem is first before you do anything

 

word ya i mean i dont get it...it runs strong pulls hard,n i have never seem it smoke...

 

did you hold the throttle body wide open?

 

lol i though that at first, bc i did that the first time i did a comp test too.

 

why would i hold the tb wide open? lol no i just unplugged all my plugs then one by one took out n tested my cylinders

 

so you can get more air then whats just in the manifold. do it again but give it full throttle.

a good ka with my compression tester comes out to be 215 i wouldnt get anything less than 185.
if i was in ur shoes i would just rebuild the bottom end if you have someone do it. it should not be that expensive.
new head gasket,bearings,rings,check the valves
