s13 sohc transmission question
s13 sohc, 5 speed manual. will a s14 5 speed transmission bolt up or a dohc s13 trans? just wondering if there are any differences. thanks for the input

i have a sohc s13 5 speed. transmission grinds in third so i am going to replace it and wanted to know if a s14 transmission would bolt right up and wiring would just plug in.. i didnt know if sohc transmissions were different then dohc transmissions. input is greatly appreciated, thank you

yea it will bolt right up. all you need to do is change out speed sensors.
the s14 speed sensor will not plug in so you need to use yours.

yes a size 10 wrench losen pull straight out x'2
swap tighten all done very easy. ohh it's the last sensor on the tranny it has a long ass wire going to it
