No ones knocking your vg, I'm kind of just wondering why you want to try to make power in a hard way, do it right, do it once.. cams, plenum, manifolds, manifold makes so much of a difference its not even funny.. I'm in the same boat as you now though back to cosmetics for my car, might pick up a second fuel pump and go for 600 but I'm in no hurry, first and second gear are almost useless on the street on the mickeys.

That "jerkoff" isn't the one that fucked up a perfectly good running VQ and your not fooling anyone who knows the car or the story. You can't down shift when your already near redline......

 

^+1. i have driven christians z before. it shifted smoothly and had zero engine problems and pulled really hard. i just wish he would have traded me....it would have went to a good home, and someone would have actually taken care of it......
