does a fixed roof C5 6mt with a cam count? damn near close to C5 z06 performance. i barely beat one of those up to the speed limiter in my ex's car many years ago, back when like, z06's were rare and stuff.

Also correct me if I'm wrong in this statement... We are supposed to take your word for how fast you were or can be, because you don't have the time, money, or equipment to back up your statements with dyno pulls or follow through with runs against the people you call out/talk shit about.
I have no idea why the hell a VG30DETT is being compared to a SR20DET. Two totally different engines one being way more potent than the other .. VG (Although more difficult to service/work on). Comparing a VG to a SR is just wrong. Its like comparing a duratec 4banger to a modular v8. VG's have much more potential (if you are willing to exploit it).

They should not even be mentioned in the same sentence. I understand the history of both motors very well. One was too good for the track and banned (VG). More recently there have been people pushing 900+whp on the factory bottom end (VG30DETT). The other didn't see very much official track duty(SR). Infact the only real benefit the SR has over the VG is lighter weight and less complexity (as well as less overall potential). When we see stock bottom ended SR's pushing 700-800 + whp (most pop around 450ish whp) then they can talk.

There isn't even anything remotely tech related in this thread (aside from someone asking for a handout). Why doesn't this thread just go away.

I did beat a C5 Z06 on 12.3psi, which was stock, and I dont think a stock sr20 will do that in an S-Chassis, correct me if I'm wrong.
