There are some other things you can do when you're really pushing the limits of what the couplers can hold.

adelwiggins connectors are expensive, but work pretty damn well as long as there isn't a ridiculous amount of twisting moment put on them.



another solution that I really like is this:



when done properly, i think it looks more elegant than the adelwiggins connector.

O-ring'd V-band's are a great way if you have the extra cash or a good bead and some T-bolt clamp's are a bit more economical.

is that a wastegate i see for a bov? i didn't think people still did that

I like t-clamps. Only had one issue with a coupler popping off that was totally my fault. Forgot to tighten a t-bolt all the way down when I was aligning the intercooler (for the 400th time).

Never had one go south on the Talon, even @ 20 psi.

I'm confused. Why and how is he using a wastegate as a BOV? Just curious how that car is rigged. Lots of cool custom stuff going on.

And is that the MAF wire going into a custom bung for the blow through setup?

T-clamps are good but you cant beat Burns Stainless Wiggins Clamps.

true but your avrige street car isnt running that much boost and on one of the cars I did, it ran 40psi with T-clamp's, and that say's somthing.

Bob's car? Yeah, that thing was fucking amazing and it didn't need anything more than t-clamps. Then again, everything was very well engineered.
