Blairesville Video

(the music gets shut off 4 minutes in)
Watch the entire thing, some of the driving sucks(when I get stuck behind the wrangler) but just take a gander at the road itself. More than worth the drive up there.
US19 on the southside of Blairesville GA. Its about 1 1/2 hours north of atlanta and an hour or so south of deals gap.
The video is when I was heading back from Deals Gap. It was better in the morning on the way up because there was Zero traffic.
I have to say this road was more fun then the gap. Its for the most part higher speed corners, and most of the road as you can see is 2 lanes. Its got more elevation change than the dragon and more camber in the corners. Where as the dragon was mostly hurry up in 2nd gear then slam the brakes, this road was mid to top of third alot of turns and sometimes down in to second. Even with a stock KA you could stretch the cars legs a bit more.

When I was doing an east coast drift demo @ Bristol Motorspeedway, ben shwartz and i took our cars off the trailers, and went street racing / drifting in the middle of the night. nothing like two illegal as hell racecars without tags hauling ass through the mountain roads and shit in the middle of redneckville, usa. but holy shit those roads are crazy.
oh yeah, cold weather + turbo = wheelspin through third as well (with a stock head). that's the win also.

some of you on here might know her, like sink, and some xat peeps, but this girl randi, who had the black s13 "pinktop" sr hatchback, has a house in blairsville, the roads are crazy yes, and some, quite dangerous TBH.
I was up there at the end of july and the temps where around 65 untill about 12 then it went up to around 70 for the rest of the day. Perfect driving weather.
I'm going back up there in june or july. I think I'm going to make it a yearly trip. Its more than worth the $500+ in gas.
