as usual, speaking the truth.

Spec is garbage. I put their stage 2+ my sr for the initial swap and it was toast in 8k miles with only street driving. it slipped like a motherfather.

I have a blitz active single in my sr now and will soon have a super coppermix in my rb. Basically any single- or multi-plate clutch will do the job now, support you later, and be able to be put back to new so to speak with a new disk and resurfacing. as a side note, the blitz clutches allow you to step up from a single- to a twin-plate by getting their upgrade kit. just my $.02

The "scene" is on the way to the shitter because people stopped caring about quality and focusing on squeezing that last few pennies out of their ass. You save up for shit you want and that will last, not buy something for the here and now you know will fail later.

The old adage "you get what you pay for" is usually pretty true.

Cliff notes:
Focus on quality, not price.
Exedy/Blitz/Nismo single/twins = amazing
Spec = garbage

OK but spendin 1000 to 1200 dollars on this clutch thats just a single disc at is good for 500hp (phase2motortrend) seems very high. There has to be something out there other then this 1000 dollar clutch that everyone on here is running but notreally needing that clutch for there car. I guess it comes with a fly wheel but those are usually 300 to 400. just seems hight to me. Thanks for your opinions

1k-1200? my blitz was $840 from superior nissan. you can get the exedy single for $960something from 240sxmotoring.com.

who says we don't need it? its about longevity. my clutch dd's amazing. there are other options, but you asked for what we thought was the best.

not to dis exedy clutches b/c they are the shit but i have heard of a few guys with rx7's having some slipping issues with them. but honestly one you go twin or hyper single you will never go back to a conventional clutch again
