Hey All,
My 240sx will start fine when its been sitting for a little while, but if you start it, then shut it off, it has a hard time starting, you have to tap the gas pedal excessivly for it to catch up with itself....any ideas? When it startd up, it runs fine.

 

this screams of leaking fuel injectors, a very common problem with single cams.

 

+1 on the injectors. Check the fuel pressure, lines and voltage at the pump while you're at it.

 

How do i fix the leaking of the fuel injectors?

 

Check the o-rings, the injector hat. You can also take them out and take them to a shop that will duty-cycle test them for you. Odds are, they're shot (stuck open) and will need replacement.

 

how much do they go for? good ones at that?

 

Could get expensive if you go new. I'd probably look into a motor-swap to be honest.

 

what swap is good, but a fair price?

 

KA24de (DOHC) is a nice upgrade from the SOHC motor.

 

ill work with the SOHC for now, til i get enough money saved up for the swap.
