temp gauge question
temp gauge in my 91 300zx na has gone out and i need to replace it with an aftermarket. those of you that own z's with aftermarket temp gauge where did you put the sending unit.
If you're just putting in a autometer gauge then the sending units work off the same resistance so you can hook the wire straight to the factory sender and the gauge will work fine. I'm not to sure about other units but you can always ohm them and find out.
edit: not sure if you know but just in case, of the 2 sensors on your hard water pipes the one with 2 wires goes to your ecu and the one with a single wire goes to the gauge, that's the one you want.

thanks for the info. iwas going to go with one of these but just using the the existing sensor bung will be a little easier and save a couple bucks.
