so i bought Angelas 240sx like a week ago and now im having problems..... when i start it up it starts great, then i drive it and it runs great, then i park it to go in somewhere and when i come back out it wont start..... it turns over and idles at like 500 rpm and drops to 100 and the car shakes really bad and then it dies, all this happens within like 2 seconds. so i let it sit for like an hour or so and then try to start it and i fires right up. does this everytime i go somewhere withought fail. i wanted to know if anyone knew of any problems like this she had and what she did to fix it. and if not, then what can i do to fix it?

not to mention it did this two days after he bought it from her

 

i would check the coolant temp sensor. check connections
when i had my old hatch, cold starts were ok but hot starts were non existant. CTS fixed it
also i had a recent problem w/ a SR and it did the super low idle thing which turned out being a bad CAS. the trigger wheel inside was distorted.
ka's use cap and rotor so take a look inside

some areas you should look at..........

 

OH ya how much can i get a coolant temp sensor 4?

 

and does anyone have one i can buy?

 

I bought my z32 ECT for $18 brand new from autozone.

no never is. oh and now i found a new problem..... now wehen im driving (when it starts lol) ill be at a stop light and try to go and it just barley even moves, then finally get to 2500rpm and shift to second and it barley moves. only does it sometimes. need a new clutch???? and when work was done on this car nobody bolted shit back, like the dipstick dangles, valve cover is missing a bolt, distributor is missing a bolt, ECU is not bolted back up to the wall, and under the transmission, what looks like a cover for the clutch, just dangles... supposed to have 2 bolts holding it up. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK................Shinemei i need u to come look this shit over when you have time, ill request a day off work to meet u even. and if my clutch is bad im not replacing that shit by myself.... anyone wanna help? lol ill pay ya a lil....
