here's how we fix this:

angela. who did you take it to that fixed this similar issue the first time? if ted knows, he can probably ask that guy or take it back to him and get it fixed again...it might at least narrow things down.

ted. the car is 15+ years old. you're going to run into some issues. if none of the physical pieces seem to be the culprit, i would start looking at the wiring harness. look for any exposed wire, bends, cracks, breaks. even if it is an ECU code pointing to a particular sensor, it could be the wiring causing the sensor to appear faulty.

good luck.

the rest of you. fucking grow up. seriously.

I took it to Na306StAnG (shaun) And he seemed to have fixed the problem. He basically tinkered with everything and got it to start (it wasnt running he had it towed to his shop)

I talked to Ted on the phone lastnight and we came up with a possible solution...

Ted, call me or Sean when you decide.

and thats why i dont sell cars to friends. just in case shit like that starts.

if it only does it when it is warm it has to do with temp so start checking senors, wires, coolant bubbles, coolant,

Angela and i have already talked about it and i was never mad at her to begin with, its on old car and its gonna have problems. i never acused her of anything nore though less of her when this problem started.

i already replaced plugs and wires, changed oil, cleaned MAF, and bought a coolant temp sensor and it still does this. and today it overheated after i already filled it with coolant. im thinking thermostat??? it only refuses to start when its warmed up or on a really hot day. car i just take the thermostat out and run it withouht one????

EDIT: and no it does not smoke at all. smells like it it running a little rich though

wow dont do that then you will not know when it over heats then it will blow. go to autozone and spend 10$ on a thermostat before you give your self even more worst problems. so basicly dont be jewish and spend 10$
